Simpsons Skoda just keep buying more from Recovery World

Neil Simpson runs Simpsons Skoda with sites in Preston and Colne together with Simpsons Online, a large used car site just outside Preston. These three busy sites have customers all over the country and generate a logistics challenge that requires moving more than 2,000 cars a year throughout the UK.

Neil bought his first 3.5tonne RW15U Aluminium beavertail from Recovery World just over 2 years ago and has found them so successful that he now has 4 supporting his business. Each vehicle travels between 80-90,000 miles a year and one has now clocked up over 350,000 miles. Neil said “these are very reliable, simple to operate, have a 5m body length and with a great payload of 1660lbs, make very good work-horses. We move a wide range of cars, including high-end Skoda’s and 4x4s and the beavertails’ cover a lot of miles. They have never missed a beat and just keep going; importantly they can be driven on a car licence and need no ‘O’ Licence. Recovery World is a great, straightforward company and Mac is well informed, very easy to deal with and happy to guide us through all the relevant regulations that govern the operation of these vehicles. They give us great support and we always know that if we need anything we only have to pick up the phone and when we need another truck they are usually available in a couple of weeks.”
